Under the Fifth Sun
Dwarfs are short, stocky humanoids, as described (mostly) in Norse folklore. They are stereotypically associated with fine craftwork, mining and such, though the mining bit, in particular, is perhaps an unjustified stereotype. They are typically believed to be proud and cunning folk, keen negotiators, and perhaps overly concerned with material things (though to be fair, that attitude may well be founded in a culture that understands that without those material things, people are just clever animals). All dwarfs (male and female alike) can grow beards and mustaches, though not all choose to do so – but facial hair and its upkeep is a social indicator of status.
